Co-Owner / Primary DJ / Entertainment Manager

Tristan James is the Co-Owner and Primary DJ of Vanguard Events & Entertainment, bringing more than 20 years of entertainment industry experience.

Tristan will often be one of the first people you speak with. He takes the time to understand your event, discuss your requirements and provide expert guidance to help recommend the right entertainment and services for your celebration.

As your event approaches, Tristan may also consult with you regarding music, your run sheet and the overall flow of your event. He works closely with venues and other suppliers to ensure the entertainment is coordinated seamlessly.

With extensive experience across weddings, corporate events and private celebrations, Tristan's focus is simple: understand your vision, guide you through the process and create an unforgettable event experience.

Tristan James of Vanguard Events & Entertainment is not affiliated with the Brisbane Elvis tribute performer of the same name. They are separate individuals and businesses.

ANNIE SWANEPOEL

Co-Owner / Operations & Client Experience / Photographer

Annie Swanepoel is the Co-Owner of Vanguard Events & Entertainment and plays a key role in the consultation and event planning process.

As your event approaches, Annie will often be in contact regarding your consultation documents, run sheet, event details and final planning requirements. She works closely with clients and venues to confirm timelines, coordinate event information and provide important documentation, including Public Liability Insurance and supplier details where required.

With a strong focus on organisation, communication and attention to detail, Annie helps ensure the Vanguard team has everything needed to deliver a smooth and professionally coordinated event.

From finalising the details to liaising with your venue, Annie is here to help make the planning process clear, organised and stress-free.
