🎧 Open Decks Night Policy – Vanguard Events & Entertainment Welcome to our Open Decks Night! We're excited to provide a platform for DJs of all experience levels to showcase their skills, connect, and have fun. To keep the night running smoothly and ensure a good vibe for everyone, please read and follow the policy below: 🔗 1. Sign-Up Process First Come, First Served: Time slots are limited. Sign up in advance online or at the venue from [time] on event day. Set Length: Each DJ gets a 30-minute set (may vary based on number of participants). DJ Info Required: Provide your DJ name, style/genre, and tech preference at sign-up. 🎛️ 2. Equipment Provided We provide: Industry-standard decks (e.g., Pioneer CDJs) Mixer Basic monitoring setup (headphones optional) Tech support on standby You can bring: USBs, laptops, vinyl, or controllers (must be compatible with venue setup) Any personal gear must be tested before your set 🎵 3. Music Guidelines All genres welcome – keep it respectful and fun No hate speech, explicit political content, or incitement Volume and EQ must stay within safe levels ⏱️ 4. Time Management Be on standby 15 minutes before your set Set changes must be quick and smooth (we’ll help) Going overtime means someone else misses out – please don’t! 🧠 5. Respect & Etiquette Respect fellow DJs, staff, and the crowd No jumping the queue, mic-hogging, or playing over others’ sets Support each other – it’s a community, not a competition 🧯 6. Safety & Responsibility Handle all equipment with care – you're liable for any damage caused by negligence No drinks on or near the DJ table Intoxicated individuals won’t be allowed to perform 📸 7. Media & Promotion We may record or take photos/videos during the event for promotion By signing up, you agree to this unless you opt out in advance 📄 8. Legal & Liability Vanguard Events & Entertainment is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal gear By participating, you agree to follow this policy and any instructions from event staff If you have any questions or need support during the night, just ask our friendly crew.
